Propel Dallas Cowboys
On October 7, Dak Prescott overcame two interceptions and delivered a critical fourth-down touchdown pass to Jalen Tolbert with just 20 seconds left, securing a narrow primetime victory for the Dallas Cowboys over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Prescott racked up 352 passing yards and two touchdowns in the Cowboys’ 20-17 win on Sunday night in Pittsburgh. Tolbert was a key contributor, hauling in seven receptions for 87 yards, including the decisive 4-yard touchdown.
“All I had to do was break free and make the play,” Tolbert said post-game. “That’s what big-time players do in crucial moments. When your team counts on you, you step up and make plays.”
The Cowboys dominated the Steelers statistically, outgaining them 445 to 226 in total yards, securing 25 first downs compared to Pittsburgh’s 17, and maintaining a nearly five-minute edge in time of possession. They punted just once throughout the game.
“We know exactly who we are,” Prescott said during the Sunday Night Football broadcast. “If we stick to our plan, we can pull out victories. Tonight was a perfect example of that.”
