Palestinian politician Mustafa Barghouti asserts that Israel’s plans are destined to fail as long as Palestinians resist occupation.
Despite Israel’s series of offensives over the past year in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, and beyond, Barghouti believes that Palestinians are now closer than ever to achieving freedom.

Speaking with host Steve Clemons, Barghouti emphasizes that Israel cannot secure “total victory” as long as Palestinians “refuse to surrender or accept a life of subjugation under Israeli occupation.”
Barghouti argues that, despite the pro-Israel stance in the West, Israel has “reached a point of crisis” and, over time, will be viewed as a “pariah state.”
